Rundell has acted in and directed many plays at ACT. And they’re energetic, they’re willing to help, they’re excited. “The first rehearsal, many of them were off book for the first 10 pages. The pair hit it off, but the timing is not right for Jo, as she continues to struggle with her true desires.ĭirector Rundell could not be happier with the cast’s hard work and cohesiveness. Later in the story, Jo decides to head to New York City to pursue her writing career, and meets Professor Bhaer, played by Morgan Suszek. Brooke, Laurie’s tutor, who takes a strong interest in Meg, asking for her hand in marriage. He is also trying to find his place in life, desperately wanting to be a part of the loving March family instead of being surrounded by the chill of a giant mansion with no one in it. Newcomer Eric Collins, at a very tall 13, portrays Laurie/Lawrence/Teddy, the girls’ childhood playmate and neighbor who has begun to notice Jo in a new romantic light. Seasoned ACT favorite Marlo Broad takes to the stage as the cross Aunt March, who holds her inheritance over the heads of the girls, choosing favorites day to day based on which of them is currently meeting her lofty demands. Kendra McInerney plays the outspoken Marmee, and Lucas Moquin plays her husband, the loving father of his “Little Women.” Tala Barton plays Meg, Mariah Brancheau plays Jo, Vie Luther plays Beth, and Brianna Jasso plays Amy. The story follows their formative years into adulthood, showing their search for love and their own place in the world. Each of the sisters is very unique in her own way - Meg longs for love and marriage, Jo is a strong-willed tomboy who won’t conform to the standards of others, Beth, a “mouse” as her father affectionately calls her, is the sweet and frail homebody, and Amy, a budding artist, finds beauty in the finer things in life. “Little Women” centers around four sisters – Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy March - growing up in refined poverty, raised by their kind mother, Marmee, in Concord, Massachusetts, while their father is away serving as an army chaplain in the Civil War. In front, from left, are Tala Barton, Brianna Jasso, Kendra McInerney, Vie Luther, and Mariah Brancheau. Pictured, back row, from left, are Iven Brown, Marlo Broad, Eric Collins, Lucas Moquin, and Morgan Suszek. The cast of “Little Women” poses at a recent rehearsal at Alpena Civic Theatre.

It seems that my RetroArch version is 1.7.3 (it was the all in one pack, I haven't looked at updates yet), VBA Next is v1.0.2 and gpSP is v0.91. the PSP emulators were better or something? I dunno, like I said, it's been a while and I'm a little out of the loop. If youve got a base Old 3DS, then mGBA will be too slow to be playable.openagbfirm openagbfirm is a bare metal app for running GBA homebrew/games. In case you only want to build one and/or more cores instead of all, you can specify the cores you want to build after the first command in no particular order. The other thing I have a vague memory of is people mentioning that emulating through Adrenaline works better because. The easiest way to build all the cores (for 3DS) is to use libretro-super. I vaguely remember the Vita having trouble emulating GBA, though it's been so long that I might be getting it confused with something else. RetroArch is a frontend for emulators, game engines and media players. gpSP crashes RetroArch entirely with a C2-12828-1 error, and VBA Next has terrible sound problems (Mother 1+2 is the only GBA game I've tested so far that doesn't have audio issues). I was so happy until i discovered im already at 60hz I am very sad i spent so long setting retroarch up so depressed.I booted up my Vita today after not having used it for around 6 months with the intent to emulate some of my old beloved GBA games on RetroArch, but I'm having some issues with the cores. Then when you go back to settings you should see it. Go to settings-> User interface -> menu item visibility -> settings -> toggle on Show ‘frame throttle’. Glad it's resolved, but feeling silly I didn't think of it *before* going down a rabbit hole that led me to screw up all my Retroarch settings. You may just need to turn on the frame throttle menu visibility. Core Controls Remapping alters how the core receives input rather than how the gamepad is coded, for example you can tell an individual core to switch button A and B on the RetroPad for gameplay, but you can still use 'A' to select in the RetroArch menu and 'B' to go back. It must have been that my previous TV had this refresh rate? I'm really not sure honestly. Remapping controls for individual cores or content. Setting this to 60 Hertz resolved the problem. I'm on Windows 10, I just right clicked on the desktop and went to Display Settings > Display Adapter Properties > Monitor tab, and noticed the refresh rate was set to 29 Hertz (?). I also noticed this was happening with a few other emulators, but strangely not with Mame or Windows games and a few other emulators.Īnyways to make a long story short, I wasted a few hours pulling out my hair and going backwards in config on several portions of the system only to find that the refresh rate on my PC had changed when connecting to the new TV. I then thought maybe I have some system issues and began uninstalling any recent software to check it again but no change. Since I had been playing other games without any issues, I initially thought there was something wrong with Retroarch so I installed a clean version, but this didn't fix anything. Then I launched a few games from other emulators that use Retroarch and everything was performing super slow and choppy, audio was stuttering at 1/2 speed. I'm actually wondering if the dynarec crashes could be somehow related to most people upgrading from a9lh to b9s, but I don't really feel confident messing with luma to test. I launched into my Windows games folder and played some, everything was working great. So I actually tried Retroarch 1.3.6 from 11/2016 recently and gpsp still crashes w/dynarec and screen tears. I bought a new Samsung TV over the weekend and hooked up my PC running Launchbox via HDMI, and everything was working fine. Just wanted to share a scenario I ran into and what fixed it, in case it helps anyone else. Similarly, whenever players enter or exit a building or dungeon, the game's backend process involves unloading the outdoor scene and loading the corresponding indoor scene (dungeon scene). As a result, Builders may notice a significant increase in loading times when starting the game. In terms of building assets alone, Sandrock utilizes five times more resources than Portia. Dallas could win its first playoff series since 2011 There was an error processing your subscription.ģ. I don't expect the Jazz to shoot the ball that poorly in Game 6 on Thursday, but it was definitely a demoralizing offensive night from Utah that has the potential to really zap some motivation from this team. The leading scorer for Utah ended up being Jordan Clarkson off the bench with 20 points, and Rudy Gobert was the only other Jazz scorer to finish with double digits in points (17). Mitchell finished the game with just nine points while going 4 of 15 from the field, Bogdanovic - who has really been the most consistent scoring threat for the Jazz in this series - had only two points on the evening. It was like there was a lid on the rim for Utah, and it resulted in really poor scoring numbers from the starters. All series long the Mavericks have done a great job of running the Jazz off the 3-point line, and while they put some defensive pressure to impact some of those shots, a lot of what Utah was missing came off of really good looks. Some credit should be given to Dallas' defense, because it was smothering Utah out on the perimeter. They didn't shoot the ball much better inside the arc either, shooting just 37.7 percent from the field. That's one of those stats you have to quadruple check to make sure it's accurate, but that's just how bad Utah shot the ball Monday night. On top of that, the Jazz shot an atrocious 10 percent from deep on 30 attempts. Utah put up just 36 points in the first half, the lowest point total in a half this season for the team. Instead what's happened is the Jazz have been rather pedestrian on offense, and in Game 5 things took a turn for the worse. Because of those two stats, I have to admit that I expected the Jazz to turn this series into a shootout, something they certainly would've won against the Mavericks. Utah's shooting woesĮntering the playoffs, the Jazz had the league's top-ranked offense, and ranked second in the league in 3-point attempts. When Doncic returned in Game 3, there were concerns about the possibility of worsening his current injury, but his Game 5 performance - specifically in the second half - showed that he was operating at his typical All-NBA level, and that should be scary for the Jazz heading into what could be the last game of the series on Thursday. When Doncic wasn't maneuvering to the rim, he was sinking 3s in the third quarter, and with each made one the cheers inside American Airlines Center just grew louder. He executed well in pick-and-rolls, catching Bogdanovic on his hip and getting easy buckets at the rim: To open the quarter he rattled off six-straight points, showing no lingering effects of that calf strain. Over that 12 minutes of the third quarter, Doncic was relentless in hunting matchups and getting whatever he wanted. Nineteen of Doncic's 33 points came in the third quarter, and by the time Doncic checked out at the start of the fourth quarter, Dallas built up a 24-point lead. That was not the case Monday night in Game 5, especially in the third quarter where Doncic's performance ended up being the final nail in Utah's coffin. That return finally happened in Game 4, in which Doncic put up 30 points, but you could see there was a little bit of rust as the Mavericks lost a close one on Saturday. He sat out the first three games of this series, and it felt like the Mavericks were playing it close to the chest regarding the severity of his injury as well as the timeline for his return. It's been 15 days since Doncic went down with a calf strain in Dallas' final regular-season game back on April 10. Here are three takeaways from Game 5 between the Mavericks and Jazz. Those two teams will square off on Tuesday night in Phoenix in Game 5. With the win, the Mavericks move one step closer to securing a spot in the Western Conference semifinals against the winner of the series between the Phoenix Suns and New Orleans Pelicans. The Mavericks built up an early lead, and Utah could never really make it competitive as Donovan Mitchell and Bojan Bogdanovic combined for just 11 points in the game. On the other end of this matchup were the Jazz, who couldn't get anything going on offense. Dallas also got 24 points from Jalen Brunson who continues his standout postseason performance. Luka Doncic put up 33 points, 13 rebounds and five assists in just his second game in this series after missing the first three games with a calf strain. From start to finish the Mavericks were dominant, feeding off a raucous crowd inside American Airlines Center to build up a 16-point lead at halftime. The Dallas Mavericks are one win away from advancing to the Western Conference semifinals after their 102-77 blowout win over the Utah Jazz on Monday night. In the 1990s, for example, the Hipparcos mission obtained parallaxes for over a hundred thousand stars with a precision of about a milliarcsecond, providing useful distances for stars out to a few hundred parsecs. Astronomers usually express distances in units of parsecs (parallax arcseconds) light-years are used in popular media.īecause parallax becomes smaller for a greater stellar distance, useful distances can be measured only for stars which are near enough to have a parallax larger than a few times the precision of the measurement. The amount of shift is quite small, even for the nearest stars, measuring 1 arcsecond for an object at 1 parsec's distance (3.26 light-years), and thereafter decreasing in angular amount as the distance increases. These shifts are angles in an isosceles triangle, with 2 AU (the distance between the extreme positions of Earth's orbit around the Sun) making the base leg of the triangle and the distance to the star being the long equal length legs. As the Earth orbits the Sun, the position of nearby stars will appear to shift slightly against the more distant background. The most important fundamental distance measurements in astronomy come from trigonometric parallax, as applied in the stellar parallax method. A similar diagram can be drawn for a star except that the angle of parallax would be minuscule. The lower diagram shows an equal angle swept by the Sun in a geostatic model. In the upper diagram, the Earth in its orbit sweeps the parallax angle subtended on the Sun. Parallax is an angle subtended by a line on a point. Half the apex angle is the parallax angle.
